CASH BACK: Careem Pays You Back Even for Rival Food Orders

2 Min Read

Dubai, UAE- Careem is launching 20% cashback on food orders in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, with a twist. From 1 to 7 September, the offer covers orders placed on any delivery aggregator app, including Careem’s competitors. Simply DM a screenshot of your order to @careemuae on Instagram and up to AED 30 cashback lands in your Careem wallet within 24 hours, ready to spend on any Careem service. Food ordered on Careem earns it automatically.

“Abu Dhabi loves its food, and this week we’re picking up part of the bill, no matter which app people order from. Someone’s dinner from another platform ends up as credit in their Careem wallet. And once that credit is there, we’re confident their next order and experience on Careem will speak for itself,” said Nourhan Farhat, VP of Marketplace Businesses at Careem.

When: 1 to 7 September 2026.

Where: City-wide across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.

How:

  1. Order food on any delivery platform in Abu Dhabi or Al Ain between 1 and 7 September 2026.
  2. Take a screenshot of your order showing the restaurant name, bill amount and delivery address, and send it by DM to @careemuae on Instagram, along with the phone number registered on your Careem account.
  3. Receive 20% cashback in your Careem wallet within 24 hours. Each customer can submit 1 bill, with cashback capped at AED 30. Credits can be used on any Careem service, from rides to groceries.-
