A landmark celebration of Indian women in the UAE is back.
Dubai, UAE- The Indian Women in Dubai (IWD) Awards, one of the most anticipated annual celebrations of Indian women in the UAE, is returning for its sixth season this November.
Hosted by Indian Women in Dubai, the IWD Awards brings together women from across the UAE for an evening celebrating achievement, leadership, resilience and community. The event combines the energy of a red-carpet celebration with meaningful recognition of women who are making an impact across business, entrepreneurship, corporate leadership, social initiatives and beyond.
Now in its sixth season, the awards have built a strong reputation for bringing together an influential community of women, prominent personalities, brands and media under one roof.
Six Seasons of Celebrating Women
Over the past five seasons, the IWD Awards have welcomed some of the most recognised Indian women from the worlds of entertainment, business and public life.
Previous chief guests have included Mandira Bedi, Sudha Chandran, Sameera Reddy and Lisa Ray.
Season 2 welcomed Mandira Bedi. Season 3 was held at Taj Exotica, Palm Jumeirah, with actress Sudha Chandran as chief guest and the Consul General of India in attendance. Season 4 featured actress Sameera Reddy, with Colors TV as media partner. Season 5 brought actress, author and activist Lisa Ray to Zabeel Ladies Club as chief guest.
Each edition has grown into an evening that combines recognition with entertainment, bringing together a red carpet, awards ceremony, performances, fashion and opportunities for women to connect and celebrate one another.
More Than an Awards Ceremony
While the evening celebrates professional and entrepreneurial achievements, the IWD Awards also recognises stories of courage, resilience and determination.
The event has consistently created space to honour People of Determination, cancer warriors and women who have overcome significant challenges, placing their stories alongside those of entrepreneurs, corporate leaders and young achievers.
“The IWD Awards is about much more than a trophy. It is about recognising the journey, the challenges and the people behind every achievement. Every year, we see women from very different backgrounds come together, celebrate one another and leave inspired by each other’s stories,” said Reema Mahajan, Founder of Indian Women in Dubai.
Season 6: A Bigger Evening Awaits
The sixth edition is set to bring together approximately 500+ guests for an evening featuring a red carpet, awards ceremony, fashion show and live performances.
The venue and chief guest will be announced soon, adding to the anticipation around this year’s celebration.
For many members of the IWD community, the awards have become an annual highlight and an opportunity to be part of an evening that brings together some of the UAE’s most active and accomplished Indian women.
With Season 6 approaching, nominations, partnerships and preparations are already underway.
