Dubai, UAE- Etihad Rail has announced seven additional passenger stations, bringing the total to 11 stations in the UAE’s first nationwide passenger rail network. This rollout is in preparation for the launch of passenger services in 2026 — a major landmark for UAE transport infrastructure.
The 11 passenger stations will span all seven emirates, linking major cities and regions:

- Mohammed bin Zayed City – Abu Dhabi
- Jumeirah Golf Estates – Dubai
- University City – Sharjah
- Al Hilal – Fujairah
Newly announced stations (7):
- Al Sila
- Al Dhannah
- Al Mirfa
- Madinat Zayed
- Mezairaa
- Al Faya
- Al Dhaid (Sharjah)
The stations will open in phases throughout 2026 ahead of the full passenger service launch.
Etihad Rail has confirmed that 10 out of 13 passenger trains are already in the UAE and undergoing safety testing ahead of service commencement.
Once operational, this fully integrated network will connect cities and regions nationwide, offering a reliable, efficient, and sustainable alternative to road travel. It’s expected to ease congestion, cut travel times between emirates, and support tourism.
