New Delhi, India & Dubai, UAE- In a high impact and significant televised address, India’s Prime Minister Hon’ble Narendra Modi spoke directly to women across India, highlighting the importance of women’s empowerment and equal participation in the nation’s growth and how the plans for women’s progress were smashed yesterday by the Opposition parties. Emphasizing long-pending reforms, the Prime Minister referred to the issue of women’s reservation, stating that efforts to ensure greater representation for women have faced repeated delays over the years and that yesterday was one more such day when the Opposition lost a chance to remove blots of them being anti-women of India.
Taking names of the specific incidents in detail, he criticized opposition parties, including the Indian National Congress, for what he described as a lack of commitment to key reforms that impact women’s progress. He termed the party as a Parasite surviving on other regional parties. He stressed that empowering women is not just a policy matter but a national priority, essential for India’s long-term development and named and shamed the opposition for destroying a progressive plan meant for the women-folk of India saying “foeticide” has been committed by the opposition parties.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed his government’s focus on initiatives aimed at improving opportunities for women in education, employment, and leadership. He noted that meaningful change requires both political will and consistent action, adding that his administration remains committed to advancing reforms that strengthen women’s role in society.
He added that he remains undefeatable when it comes to planning next for the betterment of the half population of India which is the women-folk and that he is waiting for the right time.
