Dubai, UAE- The Dubai Community Development Authority (CDA) in Dubai honored 54 strategic partners from government entities, the private sector, and non- benefit organizations during a ceremony held at Nad Al Sheba Majlis under the theme “Our Partners for a Sustainable Community Impact” The recognition celebrated their outstanding contributions to advancing Dubai’s social priorities and strengthening institutional collaboration across sectors, which have supported the development of impactful initiatives and services that positively benefited individuals, families, and the wider community, while reinforcing Dubai’s leading model in community partnership and sustainable development.

This recognition reflects the CDA’s commitment to fostering a culture of partnership and integration across sectors, while expanding institutional collaboration in ways that enhance the efficiency of the social ecosystem and strengthen its ability to respond to emerging challenges and anticipate future needs. These efforts contribute to generating sustainable developmental impact, improving quality of life, and promoting social cohesion.
During the event, the CDA celebrated partnerships that have contributed to the development of impactful initiatives and specialised services benefiting individuals, families, and groups most in need of support and empowerment. These collaborative efforts have delivered positive outcomes that have been reflected across the community, embodying Dubai’s approach of advancing human development through cooperation, integration, and shared responsibility.

Her Excellency Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, Director General of the Community Development Authority in Dubai, affirmed that strategic partnerships constitute a fundamental pillar in advancing the social development ecosystem. She noted that such partnerships enhance the social sector’s readiness to keep pace with societal changes and anticipate future needs, thereby ensuring the sustainability of impact and maximising social returns. She added that the integration of roles and the alignment of efforts among various entities represent a key factor in supporting Dubai’s social development journey.
Her Excellency said: “This recognition comes as an expression of our appreciation for our partners who have played an active role in supporting the emirate’s social priorities and have contributed to the achievement of numerous initiatives and accomplishments that have generated a tangible positive impact on society. We believe that success in social work is the outcome of an integrated system that brings together expertise, resources, and capabilities within a shared vision that places people at the heart of development and its objectives.”
Her Excellency added: “Guided by the objectives of the Dubai Social Agenda 33, and within the framework of the Dubai Performance (Dubai-it) approach launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to embed a culture of work based on rapid and precise execution and the delivery of exceptional results, we continue to develop more integrated and innovative models of cooperation with our strategic partners. This contributes to expanding social impact, enhancing opportunities for empowerment, inclusion, and social cohesion, and strengthening Dubai’s position as a leading global model in social development and quality of life.”

These partnerships have contributed significantly to advancing social and economic empowerment across the community through a wide range of impactful programmes and initiatives that have delivered tangible results. The Dubai Empowerment Programme supported the financial independence of 5,122 Emirati citizens by facilitating 7,600 employment opportunities in collaboration with more than 400 entities. Meanwhile, the Dubai Weddings Programme contributed to the establishment of 1,200 new Emirati families, achieving a satisfaction rate of 95%.
In the area of empowering People of Determination, 150 therapeutic horse-riding sessions were delivered, benefiting 23 individuals. In addition, the “Senior Citizens” track under the Family Digital Balance Initiative enhanced the quality of life of senior citizens, benefiting more than 200 participants. These achievements reflect the pivotal role of strategic partnerships in expanding social impact and transforming initiatives into sustainable development outcomes that contribute to enhancing quality of life and social cohesion in Dubai.
The honoring came in recognition of the pivotal role of partners in supporting Dubai’s social development objectives, as well as their qualitative contributions to advancing community initiatives and programs and enhancing their sustainable impact. The recognition included four main categories, reflecting the diversity of collaboration and partnership areas. The Community Development Partners category included the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai, Dubai Municipality, Ministry of Community Empowerment, Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment, Dubai Courts, Dubai Police General Headquarters, Department of Finance, Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai Health, Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation, Public Prosecution in Dubai, and Dubai Health Authority.

The Community Impact Partners category also included the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Dubai Government Human Resources Department – Human Resources Development Council, Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, Erada Center for Treatment and Rehabilitation, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Fareej Dubai, Dubai Holding Group, Dubai Land Department, Dubai Media Incorporated, Dubai Customs, Ministry of Family, Dubai Foundation for Women and Children, Ministry of Interior – “Fazaa”.
The Knowledge and Capacity Building Partners category included Seha Clinics, Dubai Civil Defence,
Knowledge and Human Development Authority, Dubai Autism Center, University of Sharjah, Dubai Corporation For Ambulance Services, Ministry of Education, The Supreme Legislation Committee in Dubai, Emirates Islamic Bank, British University in Dubai, University of Birmingham Dubai, and Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government.
As for the Innovation and Digital Transformation Partners category, it included the General Pension and General Pension and Social Security Authority, Dubai Airports, Maseer Initiatives, Emarat EV Charging Stations Company (UAEV), Netways, Help AG, Huawei, Digital Dubai Authority, Dubai Hub Centre, and Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, in recognition of their contributions to leveraging innovation and digital technologies to enhance services, improve operational efficiency, and elevate the customer experience.
The organisation of this event reflects the CDA’s commitment to strengthening the ecosystem of strategic partnerships and expanding areas of collaboration with various entities, supporting the development of a more cohesive and prosperous society, enhancing quality of life, and contributing to the achievement of the objectives of the “Dubai Social Agenda 33” and Dubai’s sustainable development priorities.
