It also featured practical applications of AI tools, their features and use cases, enabling participants to select the tools best suited to their needs and apply them to develop ideas and create content, strengthen their digital and creative skills, and leverage AI in learning and work.

Saeed Al Tayer, CEO of the Corporate Support Sector at the Community Development Authority (CDA) in Dubai, affirmed that empowering young people with knowledge and future skills represents an investment in Dubai’s future. He said: “We believe that young people are key partners in development, and that equipping them with knowledge and skills that keep pace with rapid global changes strengthens their ability to innovate and contribute to building a more prosperous and sustainable future. Artificial intelligence is an important tool for learning, creativity and developing solutions. We are therefore committed to promoting the informed and responsible use of these technologies and enabling young people to leverage them in ways that serve society and create positive impact.”

Al Tayer added: “This initiative is aligned with the objectives of the Dubai Social Agenda 33, which places people at the heart of development and supports the preparation of generations equipped with future skills and capable of adapting to change. It also contributes to strengthening Dubai’s position as a leader in innovation and the knowledge economy, enhancing quality of life and supporting the aspirations of our wise leadership.”

The workshop forms part of CDA’s efforts to activate community majalis as platforms for learning and knowledge exchange, while enabling young people to acquire future skills and strengthen their active participation in society. It also supports the objectives of the Dubai Social Agenda 33 in building a more prosperous and sustainable society.
