As CEO Anna Wibage, Sequoia Clinic explains, patients still want personalised healthcare, they simply don’t necessarily want the responsibility of piecing the entire journey together themselves

Dubai, UAE- Wellness has expanded rapidly, with people now having access to a wide range of health assessments, supplements, therapies, aesthetics services, wearables and longevity-focused programmes. With the growing number of options, Sequoia Clinic says many people can find it difficult to decide where to begin and which services may be relevant to their individual needs.

Against this backdrop, the Dubai-based wellness and longevity clinic has introduced Sequoia Core, a collection of structured programmes built around areas that the clinic says are among the concerns commonly raised by its patients, including hair and scalp health, skin health, digestive wellbeing, cognitive function and healthy ageing.

According to Sequoia Clinic, the Core programmes are intended to provide patients with a structured starting point rather than requiring them to select individual services independently. The clinic says each programme is built around a particular health goal, with recommendations adjusted according to individual assessments and clinical findings.

For example, Sequoia Core Hair focuses on assessing possible factors associated with hair thinning before a programme is developed around the individual’s requirements. Core Gut combines health assessments with a programme focused on digestive wellbeing, while Core Cognitive Function is centred on assessments and services related to cognitive wellbeing, energy and mental clarity.

The clinic has also introduced several programmes focused on skin and healthy ageing. Sequoia Core Skin is designed for people beginning a longer-term skin and wellness programme, while Core Skin Reset takes a more intensive approach, according to the clinic. Sequoia Thrive, aimed at patients aged 35 and above, brings together broader assessments with considerations related to skin, wellness and healthy ageing.

“People have access to more health information and treatment options than ever before, but that can also make knowing where to begin incredibly overwhelming,” said Anna Wibage, CEO of Sequoia Clinic. “What we increasingly hear is that patients want clarity and direction. They still want their healthcare to be personalised, but they do not necessarily want to piece the journey together themselves. Sequoia Core gives patients a structure and a clear starting point, while allowing their individual diagnostics, needs and goals to determine how that journey develops.”

Before a programme begins, the Sequoia Assessment is used by the clinic to gather information about an individual’s health and requirements. Sequoia Clinic says the assessment helps its clinicians determine priorities and recommendations within the selected Core programme.

The launch reflects the clinic’s approach of organising its services around specific areas of interest rather than presenting patients with a broad list of individual treatments. According to Sequoia Clinic, Sequoia Core is intended to offer a clearer starting point while allowing programmes to be adapted based on individual assessments and needs.

Sequoia Clinic is a wellness and longevity clinic based in Dubai. According to the clinic, it takes a personalised and preventative approach to healthcare, combining medical expertise, health assessments and lifestyle guidance.

The clinic says its approach is based on a Scandinavian philosophy and focuses on prevention, personalisation and long-term wellbeing. Its services include in-clinic and at-home options designed to fit different patient requirements and lifestyles.

Sequoia Clinic positions itself at the intersection of clinical healthcare and premium wellness, with a focus on personalised care and longer-term health and wellbeing.
