Dubai, UAE- Sabine Karam is the CEO and Co-founder of iDiet, a premium healthy meal plan brand in the UAE, and a nutrition and healthy food industry entrepreneur with more than 16 years of experience spanning dietetics, meal plan development, culinary innovation and food operations. Her work sits at the intersection of nutrition and the food business, with a focus on making healthier eating more practical, enjoyable and sustainable for everyday consumers.
Sabine began her entrepreneurial journey in 2010, co-founding HealthBox Diet and Nutrition Center shortly after graduating with a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the American University of Beirut. What started as a small kitchen in Beirut has grown into an established diet, nutrition and healthy catering business, serving more than one million meals annually in Lebanon. Building on this experience, Sabine co-founded iDiet in 2021 to bring the same nutrition-led approach to the UAE, where the brand now serves more than 3,500 customers and delivers over one million healthy meals annually.
Through iDiet, Sabine is helping shape a more personalised approach to healthy eating in the UAE, bringing together registered dietitians, professional chefs and flexible meal planning to address not only what people should eat, but how healthy eating can realistically fit into their lives. She champions a model in which nutrition expertise is supported by ongoing dietitian guidance, appealing food and the flexibility needed to sustain healthier habits over time.
With hands-on experience across nutrition, product development, culinary development, kitchen operations and customer experience, Sabine has developed a practical understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the meal plan and dietitian-led nutrition sector. She remains closely involved in iDiet’s product development and customer journey, from how meals are designed and prepared to how personalised nutrition support is delivered.
Sabine’s vision is to help promote healthier diets and lifestyles by changing the way people think about healthy food: not as a restrictive short-term solution, but as an enjoyable and sustainable part of everyday life. Her approach is grounded in a simple belief: healthy eating is more likely to last when people genuinely enjoy their food and have the right nutritional support to make it work for them.
In addition to her Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the American University of Beirut, Sabine has completed the Acceleration Management Program at INSEAD.
