To the Global Community,
There are moments in history when silence is no longer appropriate and truth must be spoken with clarity, dignity, and conviction.
At a time when regional tensions and global uncertainties create fertile ground for speculation and misinformation, I feel compelled to address the world, not only as a legal professional practicing in both Dubai and India, but as someone whose family history in the United Arab Emirates stretches back nearly a century.
My forefathers came to this land almost 100 years ago, long before the magnificent skyline of Dubai captured the imagination of the world and long before the UAE emerged as one of the most admired nations of modern times. They arrived in an era when this land was defined not by towering infrastructure but by resilience, ambition, and a spirit of cooperation among people who believed in the promise of the future.
They witnessed the foundations of a nation being laid not merely through development projects, but through leadership that valued human dignity, stability, and opportunity.
Today, as I reflect on their journey and my own experiences living and working here, I can say with complete sincerity that the rise of the United Arab Emirates is one of the most remarkable success stories of the modern world.
The UAE did not achieve its global standing by coincidence. It was built through vision, wisdom, and a leadership philosophy that understands the responsibility of protecting not only its citizens but also the millions of residents who have come here seeking opportunity and security.
More than 190 nationalities live together in this country. They work together, build businesses together, raise families together, and contribute collectively to a society that values peace, tolerance, and mutual respect.
This is not a slogan. It is a daily reality.
For those of us whose families have lived here for generations, the UAE is not merely a place where we work but it is a place where we belong.
It is my pride to share these rare photographs of my forefathers alongside the Founding Fathers of the UAE.

ABSOLUTELY PRICELESS LEGACY PHOTOGRAPHS: Advocate Anjana Bhatia’s Forefather with the Founding Father of UAE
My forefathers saw this nation rise from humble beginnings. They saw a land that welcomed people from across the seas and across cultures, offering them not only economic opportunity but also something even more valuable: trust and stability.
Over the decades, they witnessed how leadership in this country consistently placed the wellbeing of people at the centre of governance. That principle remains just as strong today.

Which is why it is both surprising and disappointing to see certain voices outside the UAE attempting to spread rumours, distort realities, and question the stability of a nation that has repeatedly demonstrated its resilience and strength.
In moments of regional tension, rumours unfortunately travel faster than facts. Social media amplifies speculation, and narratives are sometimes shaped not by truth but by frustration, misunderstanding, or even jealousy.
There are places in the world where citizens struggle daily with insecurity, instability, and ineffective governance. When people from such environments see a country where leadership acts decisively, where public safety is a priority, and where institutions function with remarkable efficiency, it can sometimes be difficult for them to comprehend.
Some admire it.
Others question it.
And a few attempt to discredit it.
But the truth about the UAE cannot be rewritten by distant commentary or speculative narratives.
The truth is visible in the everyday lives of millions of residents who walk safely in its streets, conduct business with confidence, and raise their children in an environment of stability.
The truth is reflected in the trust that investors, entrepreneurs, professionals, and families from every continent continue to place in this nation.
The truth is that the UAE has built a governance model that prioritizes security, economic progress, innovation, and social harmony at the same time.
It is not easy to create such a society. Yet the leadership of this country has achieved exactly that.

One Frame, Three Generations in Present Times: Consulting Editor with Her Father and Son in the UAE
Dubai, in particular, stands today as one of the world’s most dynamic cities, a place where global cultures intersect, where opportunities are limitless, and where safety and order remain among the highest priorities of governance.
Those of us who live here understand something that many outside observers may not fully grasp.
The UAE’s stability is not accidental.
It is the result of visionary leadership, disciplined governance, and an unwavering commitment to the wellbeing of people.
Even in times of global uncertainty, this nation has demonstrated its ability to act swiftly, responsibly, and decisively to ensure that life continues with confidence and security.
My family has witnessed this consistency across generations.
From the days when this land was still finding its footing in the modern world, to the present era where it stands as a global hub for innovation, trade, and cultural exchange, the guiding principle has remained the same: leadership that prioritizes people and protects the nation’s future.
That is why millions of expatriates proudly call the UAE their home away from home.
That is why entrepreneurs choose to invest here.
That is why professionals from across the globe continue to arrive with hope and ambition.
And that is why rumours, no matter how loudly they are repeated, cannot alter the reality that people experience every day in this country.
Understand the nation before forming judgments about it.
To those who attempt to malign the image of the UAE or question its stability, I offer a respectful but firm message.
Observe the harmony among its diverse communities.
Recognize the strength of its institutions and the wisdom of its leadership.
And most importantly, listen to the voices of the millions who live here and know its reality firsthand.
For nearly a century, my family has witnessed the journey of this nation.
We have seen its deserts transform into centres of global commerce.
We have seen its ports, airports, and cities connect the world.
We have seen leadership that consistently chooses progress over conflict, unity over division, and responsibility over rhetoric.
Such achievements do not emerge from chance.
They are the result of leadership guided by vision, courage, and a deep sense of duty.
Because of that leadership, the United Arab Emirates has become a place where people from nearly every corner of the world can coexist peacefully while pursuing their aspirations.
And that is why I say with complete confidence:
The UAE was safe yesterday.
It is safe today.
And it will remain safe tomorrow.
No rumour can weaken the trust that millions place in this country.
No misinformation can erase the decades of progress that the world has witnessed.
No external criticism can diminish the respect that the UAE has earned on the global stage.
For my family, for myself, and for millions of residents who have found dignity, opportunity, and stability here, the UAE is more than a place on the map.
It is a living example of what visionary leadership and collective determination can achieve.
And that truth will continue to shine far brighter than any attempt to distort it.
And as a final note–
Let this also serve as a clear and responsible warning to those media outlets and individuals outside the UAE who choose to spread rumours and unfounded narratives about this nation. In an era where information travels instantly across borders, misinformation can cause unnecessary fear and confusion among people who depend on credible journalism. Those who deliberately circulate false or exaggerated claims about the UAE’s stability are not merely misinforming audiences, they are undermining the principles of responsible communication. The UAE’s reputation has been built through decades of stability, visionary leadership, and global trust, and no amount of speculative reporting or rumour-mongering can alter that reality.

I am in UAE only for 37 years and completely agree with everything so accurately and passionately described by Advocate Anjanaji. She has rightly echoed the experience, sentiments and understanding of millions of locals and expatriates living in UAE. In a lighter vein, whenever someone asks me about how long I would like to stay here, my instant reply is “Jeena yahan, marna yahan, iske siva jaana kahan”. A country is nothing but a true reflection of its visionary leadership and UAE is a living example of it.
Well said 👏🏼👏🏼
