In an exclusive interview with India’s news agency ANI, the UAE Ambassador to the Republic of India, H.E. Dr. Abdulnasser Jamal Alshaali, said that Indian Prime Minister Hon’ble Shri Narendra Modi spoke with UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan regarding the injured Indian, and that both leaders remain personally in touch on the matter.
He said Prime Minister Modi’s direct engagement with the UAE leadership should itself serve as reassurance for the nearly four million Indians living in the UAE, as well as their families back home in India.
Ambassador Alshaali also emphasized that all systems across the UAE are fully functional and that the country’s economy remains stable as ever.
