Abu Dhabi, UAE- Zayed Sports City announces the launch of Village Nights, starting today (Friday 9 October), inviting families and friends to enjoy evenings of food, live entertainment and outdoor activities in the heart of Abu Dhabi.
Celebrating Emirati culture and traditions, Village Nights combines traditional performances, local and international flavours and contemporary entertainment in a relaxed outdoor setting. The programme welcomes families and visitors from across the UAE to make the most of the cooler months.
Located near the tennis courts and Zone D pitches at Zayed Sports City, Village Nights will offer visitors a variety of food and beverage options from DRVN, Tummy Yummies, Costa Coffee, Healthy Station, Ka’aki w Nos and LAMORE, with popular burger concept SALT confirmed to join the line-up soon.
The opening weekend, from 9 to 11 October, will feature a mix of live music, traditional Emirati Ayala performances, interactive games and activities for all ages.
Friday’s programme includes Block Party Bingo with Caolan, performances by Arabic fusion band Musilive and traditional Ayala dancers. On Saturday, visitors can enjoy live music from singer and guitarist James Deegan, Music Bingo with Dylan & Dillon and Ayala performances. Sunday will feature live performances by YFY throughout the evening.
The same entertainment programme will return the following weekend, from 16 to 18 October, giving visitors another opportunity to experience Village Nights.
Beyond the food and entertainment, Zayed Sports City will continue to welcome sports clubs, academies and visitors across its pitches, courts and other facilities, adding to the community atmosphere throughout the week.
Whether it’s catching up with friends over coffee, enjoying a casual family dinner or introducing children to traditional Emirati culture, Village Nights offers another reason to spend time outdoors as Abu Dhabi welcomes the cooler season.
Village Nights will be open from 5pm to 10pm on Fridays and from 4pm to 10pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Food and beverage outlets will operate from 5-10pm from Monday to Friday, with live entertainment and family activities taking place from Friday to Sunday. Entry is free, with food and beverages available for purchase.

Village Nights attendees are advised to enter through Gate 16 of Zayed Sports City (from Khaleej Al Arabi Road) and follow signages to the dedicated parking spaces.
