DUBAI, UAE- Bringing together food, creativity and a cause that touches countless lives, the 11th Pink Cooking Challenge, founded and organised by Dr. Rajul Matkar, was held on Thursday, 22 October 2026, at Glendale International School, Oud Metha, Dubai.
Now in its 11th edition, the initiative continues to raise awareness about breast cancer through an engaging community experience that combines healthy cooking, personal storytelling and education around women’s health.
The event brought the message of breast cancer awareness beyond the clinical setting and into the kitchen, encouraging participants to reflect on the role of food, lifestyle and informed health choices in overall wellbeing.

With 36 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Dr. Rajul Matkar has championed women’s health education throughout her career. Her vision for the Pink Cooking Challenge is rooted in the belief that meaningful health conversations can begin in everyday spaces, including the family kitchen and around the dining table.
“Breast cancer awareness is not just about one month or one campaign. It is about encouraging women to understand their bodies, recognize changes, seek timely medical advice and make informed decisions about their health. Through the Pink Cooking Challenge, we use food and creativity to bring people together around this important conversation,” said Dr. Rajul Matkar.
At the heart of the challenge was the idea of a personal “Pink Story” inviting participants to prepare a creative, healthy dish inspired by what pink represents to them.
From hope and courage to healing, sisterhood and survivorship, each dish offered an opportunity to connect culinary creativity with the broader message of breast cancer awareness.
The initiative also highlighted the importance of balanced nutrition and sustainable lifestyle habits as part of overall health. While healthy eating can support wellbeing, it is not a substitute for recommended breast screening, medical assessment or evidence-based treatment.
For more than a decade, Dr. Rajul has used the Pink Cooking Challenge as a platform to bring together individuals, families, food enthusiasts and supporters of women’s health.

The initiative reflects her wider commitment to health education and integrative wellbeing through Reset by Dr Rajul, her platform focused on women’s hormonal health, nutrition and sustainable lifestyle practices.
