SHARJAH INTERNATIONAL BOOK FAIR 2026
SHARJAH, UAE- His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, welcomed a distinguished delegation of scholars and archival experts from Portugal and India at the Dr. Sultan Al-Qasimi Centre, in the presence of Her Highness Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi. The meeting highlighted Sharjah’s global cultural partnerships, the importance of preserving historical manuscripts and rare documents, and the emirate’s commitment to advancing knowledge and academic research. His Highness also introduced the visiting delegation to the centre’s remarkable collection of historical records, maps, photographs and rare publications.
