Dubai, UAE- As Dubai prepares for another season of outdoor experiences, Global Village is giving its familiar VIP offering a new identity for Season 31 — one that looks beyond access and privileges to include a small piece of the destination’s story.
This season, the VIP Packs have been redesigned around a new “Global Village Story Book” concept, transforming the traditional package into a keepsake inspired by the destination’s journey over the years. The design also includes seven Season 31 pins honouring the UAE, adding a local cultural element to the experience.
It is an interesting shift for a destination that has become closely associated with Dubai’s cooler months. For many residents, visiting Global Village is not simply a one-off outing, but a seasonal ritual shared with family and friends.
That sense of familiarity is perhaps what makes the Story Book concept relevant. Rather than focusing only on what visitors receive during their visit, the idea introduces something they can keep after the season is over — reflecting how entertainment destinations are increasingly looking to create memories that extend beyond the experience itself.
Six ways to experience the season
For Season 31, visitors can choose from six VIP and Mega Pack options. The Diamond VIP Pack is priced at AED 7,900, followed by Platinum at AED 3,490, Gold at AED 2,490 and Silver at AED 1,890.
Mega Gold and Mega Silver also return this season, combining Global Village privileges with access to experiences at Dubai Parks and Resorts. They are priced at AED 4,990 and AED 3,490 respectively.
Adding a playful element to this year’s release, one VIP Pack will contain a cheque worth AED 31,000, giving one purchaser an unexpected surprise connected to Season 31.
The packs are being released in limited quantities, with purchases restricted to one pack per Emirates ID. Registration is also required to activate the benefits.
A Dubai tradition that continues to evolve
Global Village has changed considerably since first opening its gates in 1997. According to figures shared by the destination, it has welcomed more than 100 million guests over the years. Season 30 alone brought together 30 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, alongside thousands of retail and dining experiences, performances, rides and games.
Yet perhaps its strongest connection with Dubai is less about numbers and more about familiarity. Generations of residents have grown up visiting the destination, while newcomers often discover it as one of their first introductions to the city’s multicultural character.
With Season 31 approaching, the new VIP concept appears to build on that emotional connection — combining entertainment, collectable details and a little nostalgia in a package designed to become part of the season’s memories.
For a destination built around discovering different cultures in one place, the Story Book feels fitting: another chapter in a Dubai experience that continues to reinvent itself year after year.
