Abu Dhabi, UAE- Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development has launched the Future Founders Market, its first market created to encourage young people to explore entrepreneurship through real life business experience.
The initiative is designed to help the next generation of entrepreneurs turn their ideas into products, build their own brands, display their creations to the public, and interact directly with customers.
The market is part of the Fund’s ongoing efforts to promote an entrepreneurial culture among young people. It gives participants the chance to learn practical skills such as developing products, understanding customer needs, improving communication, making business decisions, and encouraging innovation in an environment that reflects real business situations.
The Future Founders Market is also an extension of the Future Entrepreneur Programme 2026. It allows participants to use the knowledge and skills they have learned during the programme by presenting their products, testing their ideas, and receiving direct feedback from visitors. This experience helps them improve their projects and build stronger entrepreneurial skills.
The initiative follows the idea of learning through experience. Participants take part in every stage of creating and running a business. They present their products, explain their value to customers, and communicate directly with visitors. This helps them better understand the market and the importance of building strong relationships with customers.
The experience also helps participants develop self confidence, teamwork, responsibility, and other important qualities needed to become successful entrepreneurs.
The market is not only for young entrepreneurs but also for families and the wider community. It creates a platform where people can discover creative projects, encourage young talent, and share valuable feedback that helps participants improve their products.
The first edition of the Future Founders Market will be held at Bawadi Mall in Al Ain from 7 to 9 August 2026 between 4 pm and 10 pm.
The second edition will take place at Reem Mall in Abu Dhabi from 14 to 18 August 2026 during the same timings.
Visitors can also enjoy interactive workshops and activities designed for families and the community.
Khalifa Fund has invited members of the public to visit the market, explore the projects created by young entrepreneurs, and support them as they begin their business journeys.
The initiative also highlights the important role of families and the community in encouraging young talent, promoting innovation, and helping build the entrepreneurs of the future.
