28 May is World Burger Day, and Dubai has no shortage of reasons to celebrate. From loaded smash patties to Wagyu blends with serious pedigree, here’s where to mark the occasion across the city.

Sal’s Burger KitchenPalm Jumeirah Mall

Sal’s is making World Burger Day a proper event. Anyone ordering a burger or burger combo on the day gets a free slider of their choice: the Sal’s Burger Slider, the Entrecôte Slider, or the Le French Slider. The offer runs all day from opening to close; just mention World Burger Day at the counter. If a free slider isn’t reason enough, the menu speaks for itself.

Three Cuts Steakhouse & BarPalm Jumeirah Mall

Three Cuts takes its Burgers & Beer pairing seriously, and World Burger Day is the perfect excuse to try it. The Three Cuts Burger is made with high-quality beef, sliced in half and plated over a choice of Green Peppercorn or Entrecôte sauce for a more indulgent, dip-as-you-go experience. Add crispy skinny fries and a draught beer, and it’s one of the more considered burger menus in the city. The full set goes for AED 150, available Monday to Saturday from 12PM to 7PM on Rooftop West.

The CoterieIbn Battuta Mall

The Coterie Burger is the one to order: a 230g Wagyu beef blend with smoked applewood cheddar, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and tomato chutney on chip shop chips. Add a fried organic egg or veal bacon for the full build. It’s a burger that earns its price point.

McCafferty’s Irish Bar & RestaurantCircle Mall

McCafferty’s Signature Burger is comfort food done with care: Angus beef, bone marrow, aged Dublin cheddar, lettuce, tomato, veal bacon, and sesame brioche. The Irish-pub-meets-steakhouse setting makes it an easy choice for anyone who wants more than just a patty between two buns.

Maxzi The Good Food ShopCircle Mall

Maxzi’s smash-and-sear burgers are built on 100% Wagyu beef patties (antibiotic-free and always fresh) and served with the house master sauce, onion, and pickles. The Double Cheeseburger and the Truffle & Mushroom Cheeseburger are standout picks, but the MAXZImum Meat Lovers is for those who mean business.

Wet Black BurgerBay Square

Dubai’s self-proclaimed first AI-designed burger restaurant does things a little differently. The Gorilla Black Burger is the signature order: double smash patties on a black brioche bun with melted cheddar and caramelised crispy onions. The Unstoppable Burger is a close second, with a 180g Wagyu patty, caramelised onion and mushroom sauce, and cheddar on brioche. The concept is gimmick-free once the food arrives.
