11th Edition Brings Breast Cancer Awareness to the Kitchen
Dubai, UAE- This October, Dr. Rajul Matkar, Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, women’s health advocate and founder of Reset by Dr Rajul, will host the 11th edition of the Pink Cooking Challenge, bringing breast cancer awareness into the kitchen through food, creativity and community.
The event will take place on Thursday, 22 October 2026, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Glendale International School, Oud Metha, Dubai, the venue partner for this year’s challenge.
For more than a decade, the initiative has brought together women, families, food enthusiasts, breast cancer survivors, influencers and community members to encourage conversations about women’s health and breast cancer awareness.
With 36 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Dr. Rajul believes healthcare extends beyond the consultation room.
“The Pink Cooking Challenge was created to look at breast cancer awareness through a different lens. Food brings people together, and the kitchen is often the heart of a home. By bringing health awareness into that space, we can make conversations about prevention, healthy lifestyle choices and women’s wellbeing more engaging, relatable and memorable.”— Dr. Rajul Matkar
A Pink Story on Every Plate
Participants will prepare a creative and healthy dish of their choice, inspired by their interpretation of “pink.” The colour may represent breast cancer awareness, hope, courage, healing, motherhood, sisterhood, survivorship or a personal connection to the cause.
The challenge will celebrate culinary creativity, healthy food choices and the personal stories behind each dish. The top three dishes will receive special recognition, with prizes and support from premium brands.
The event will also welcome breast cancer survivors, influencers, participants and community members, providing an opportunity to share experiences and celebrate women’s strength.
